You can fill as much or little of your mug as you'd like - get creative with the design.

After you're happy with the design, bake it in an oven set to 300 degrees for 35 minutes. This will cure the paint to the mug!

Once your mug has cooled it's ready to give to mom as a DIY Mother's Day gift! Of course, you can also make this for yourself too - it's so fun.

1. If you make a mistake, use a q-tip dipped in water to clean the paint. 2. Don't draw over your lines to darken them; the paint won't adhere well. 3. Keep designs simple for best results. 4. Dollar store mugs work great for this DIY craft! 5. Keep paint on outside of mugs; it's non-toxic, but not food safe.
